ABOUT HORACE DAN D.:
We are delighted to welcome HORACE DAN D to our mix series.
A true pioneer of Romanian techno, Horace has played a vital role in shaping the electronic music landscape of his home country.
As the founder of the Transylvanian electronic scene, he organized the region’s very first electronic party back in December 1995.
Since then, he has been instrumental in the creation and promotion of major national festivals such as Delahoya, Transylvanian Summit, and DJs Gathering.
His career has seen him perform at prestigious events across Europe, including the legendary Street Parade (2004 & 2006), Mayday Budapest, Electric Castle, Snow Fest (France), and Bukovel Music Festival, alongside countless club appearances.
A standout moment in his journey was his feature on the iconic radio show Pitch Control, produced by Chris Liebing and Pauli Steinbach (HR3-XXL).
As a producer, Horace is known for his raw, underground sound.
His discography boasts releases on powerhouse labels like Tronic, Drum Tunnel Records, and Kuukou Records. Notably, his work was featured on the official ’25 Years of Loveparade’ compilation.
